VANCOUVER, Wash. — The Clark County medical examiner’s office says a 66-year-old Vancouver, Washington, woman whose death is being investigated as a homicide died of blunt head trauma.
The Columbian reported that there have been no arrests in the death of Sharon Allison. Police aren’t saying whether there was any forced entry into her apartment. They say they hope to get more information from the public.
Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp says police don’t know what happened before Allison’s death.
Police found the woman’s body Saturday after a friend who looked after Allison asked for a welfare check.
A brother says the woman was left mentally and physically handicapped after a double aneurism 20 years ago.
