MARYSVILLE — Someone in a dark-colored sedan fired a gun in the middle of a north Marysville neighborhood Thursday.
No one was injured.
A witness noticed the car stopped in the 17500 block of Spring Lane Avenue, Marysville police Cmdr. Mark Thomas said Friday. It was around 6:50 p.m. A person in the passenger’s seat reportedly fired three shots into the air before the car sped away.
Officers collected three shell casings from the scene, Thomas said. They have no information about the people inside the car.
Police believe the drive-by shooting was random. There was no evidence to indicate the gunfire was targeted at a specific person or property, Thomas said.
