JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD — The driver of a car was killed when it crashed into a gate guard house at a Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
Base spokesman Matt Hinkle told KOMO that the car was leaving the base before 5 a.m. Thursday when it slammed into the East Gate guard house. It was unoccupied at the time.
No one else was in the vehicle.
