EVERETT — An injury crash Monday led to the arrest of a man who a deputy had tried to pull over in south Everett earlier in the night, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Two people were hurt. One was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle; the other to Swedish/Edmonds hospital, according to Snohomish County Fire District 1.
The deputy tried to pull over the suspect’s car early Monday morning but the driver took off, said Shari Ireton, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman. There was no pursuit, she said.
The car T-boned another vehicle at Gibson Road and Highway 99 around 2 a.m.
The driver ran off but was tracked by a police dog and found not far from the crash scene, Ireton said.
The suspect, 41, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for outstanding felony warrants. The sheriff’s office Collision Investigation Unit likely will refer other charges related to the crash, Ireton said.
