SEATAC — The Washington State Patrol says a motorist who fled on foot after a collision on Interstate 5 was struck in the roadway by a car.
The patrol says the 26-year-old Tukwila driver was speeding southbound near SeaTac just before midnight Sunday. He struck another car and caused it to roll over. He then fled the scene and tried to cross northbound lanes of traffic but was struck and injured by a car.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. No other injuries were reported.
