OLYMPIA — A man accused in three hit-and-run crashes in Thurston County told deputies he was part of the “Bump and Go Posse.”
Sgt. Dave Odegaard told The Olympian the 45-year-old Olympia man arrested Tuesday was intoxicated. His SUV was stopped after a chase in which a patrol car rammed it to cause a spin out. Then he rammed the patrol car.
Two people involved in Tuesday’s hit-run spree were taken to hospitals for treatment. One driver says she was rear-ended by an SUV that pushed her car 400 feet down the road.
Odegaard says deputies are looking into an unusual number of reckless driving complaints.
