MUKILTEO — No one was injured when a tree fell onto school bus Friday morning as it was traveling on Picnic Point Road.
Three students were aboard at the time, said Andy Muntz, a spokesman for the Mukilteo School District.
The students were transported to Serene Lake Elementary School.
“The driver also was not injured, but was understandably shaken up, as the tree hit near the driver’s area of the bus,” Muntz said.
The bus was damaged enough that it needed to be towed to the district’s maintenance garage for repair.
