Driver struck in Kent School District bus barn

KENT — The Kent School District says a school bus driver walking in a crosswalk at the district’s bus barn was hit and injured by a school bus.

KOMO-TV reported that driver Lynne Hagen was airlifted Monday to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. A nursing supervisor did not immediately return a call regarding Hagen’s condition Monday night.`

The driver of the bus was also taken to a hospital to be checked out.

Police say they don’t believe either drugs or alcohol was a factor.
