Drivers in Marysville head-on collision taken to hospital

MARYSVILLE — Two drivers in a head-on collision in Marysville were taken to the hospital Tuesday evening.

The extent of their injuries were not immediately available Tuesday.

The collision happened around 5:30 p.m. A stretch of 51st Avenue NE was closed, said Marysville police Cmdr. Mark Thomas. Police blocked off the road between 108th Street NE and 116th Street NE.

Thomas said the roadway would remain closed while detectives investigated the cause of the collision.
