Jonathan Justin Mayberry, son of Michael and Lisa Mayberry of Lake Stevens, received his Eagle Scout badge and ribbon in an Eagle Court of Honor ceremony Sept. 9 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens. He is a member of Troop 42, which is sponsored by American Legion Post 181. Mayberry oversaw the construction of four convertible bench and picnic tables for NOAH, an animal rescue shelter on I-5 north of the Stanwood exit. He plans to attend Western Washington University or Eastern Washington University next fall.
