Everett: Apparent arson badly damages home
An arson did extensive damage to an abandoned home Friday night in south Everett, fire officials said.
The fire at 12000 Avondale Way began at 8:25 p.m. near the back of the house and spread.
The home was abandoned, but an investigator with the Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire was intentionally set, and the house had been frequented by transients.
