EDMONDS — Police officer Ken Ploeger has a new title to add to his resume.
He recently was promoted to sergeant with Edmonds police.
Ploeger has been a police officer in Edmonds since February 1991, Sgt. Don Anderson said Monday.
He has worked in property crimes, street crimes, narcotics, SWAT and more. He had been a corporal since 2002.
Ploeger will supervise a day shift of patrol officers, Anderson said.
He is expected to be officially sworn in as sergeant at an Edmonds City Council meeting later this month.
