EDMONDS — Police were searching for a man suspected of domestic violence Thursday afternoon in Edmonds.
The man was last seen near 203rd Street SW and 76th Avenue W, according to the Edmonds Police Department.
Police described the man as someone in his 50s, with long black-and-white hair and a long beard of the same color. He was reported to be wearing a black T-shirt and camouflage shorts, with a possible knife sheathed in his belt.
Edmonds-Woodway High School, College Place Middle School and College Place Elementary School were all placed on lockdown as a precaution. By 12:15 p.m., the lockdowns were lifted, according to the Edmonds School District.
At 12:11 p.m., police wrote there was “no longer an active search” for the man, but he had not been arrested yet.
