Brooke Anne Bilden and Clark Malcolm Schroeder of Lake Stevens plan a Feb. 10 wedding in West Seattle.

Their parents are Steve and Susan Bilden of Chicago, Joyce and Ivan Merrero of Smokey Point, and Craig and Marsha Schroeder of Everett.

Clark proposed to Brooke on her birthday at a party with her family and friends attending. The wedding is planned for Alki Beach, where Clark spent many happy years as a child.

Brooke works for Optioncare Northwest and is completing a degree in graphic arts at Everett Community College. Clark composes techno music and works for Apple computers.

The couple plan a honeymoon on a remote island in Fiji.
