Patricia Douglas, of Monroe, created an operating manual for a community kitchen at EvCC for a group of students to plan, cook and share healthy meals.
Melanie Fischer, of Everett, made a short video focusing on the major stereotypes of Germany. She interviewed students and used that information to identify ways to avoid stereotyping.
Nevada Heintz, of Stanwood, researched and analyzed the process of converting a current automotive part into a composite part.
Sage Herr, of Marysville, created a package design, elements of brand identity and other design principles, which she successfully presented to a nonprofit organization.
Erika Knapp, of Arlington, created a storyboard and illustrations for a children’s book.
Jovanka Lazovic, of Arlington, researched the main ideas around adversity, happiness and resilience from three religious perspectives in a scholarly research paper.
Krystle Levin, of Gold Bar, researched the history and development of knot theory (study of mathematical knots), generated and tested her own theory and created a 3D sculpture representing her coursework.
Corinne McIntyre, of Snohomish, investigated sexual education and attitudes among college students.
Brooke Robbinson, of Lynnwood, created a prototype for EvCC’s student newspaper, The Clipper, to convert from a newspaper to a magazine format.
Deborah Woods, of Everett, researched the Oso and Ledgewood landslides, showing students how to create a presentation for a national conference.
Tsz Hin “Owen” Yip, of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, adapted Shakespeare’s play “Timon of Athens” into a short story set in contemporary Hong Kong.
