LAKE STEVENS — An 11-year-old boy was flown by helicopter Friday to a Seattle hospital after being injured in a four-vehicle accident on Highway 204 that blocked the road for almost four hours, the State Patrol reported.
The Everett boy was listed in serious condition Friday night at Harborview Medical Center, a nursing supervisor said.
The boy was a passenger in a pickup driven by Roger Johnson, 35, of Everett.
Johnson was driving westbound on Highway 204 at milepost seven at about 5 p.m. when his truck struck an eastbound Ford Bronco, pushing the Bronco into a guardrail.
Johnson’s vehicle was towing a pickup, which rotated and rolled over. A fourth vehicle, a four-door Honda, was hit by debris during the accident, the State Patrol said.
Highway 204 was reopened at about 8:30 p.m., troopers said.
