Art Ruben has been named president of the Everett Central Lions Club. Ruben, a longtime Everett resident, is an agent for Allstate Insurance Co.
Other officers installed were Ken Beecher (recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award), first vice president; Troy Woodard, second vice president; Merry Goshorn (Lion of the Year), third vice president; Gary Councilman, secretary; Dick Abrams, treasurer; Bridget Larson, one-year director; John Patchamatla, one-year director; Karst Brandsma, two-year director; Linda Beecher, two-year director; David Stillwell, lion tamer; Fred Zoeller, tale twister.
