EVERETT — Deputies closed the Snohomish County Courthouse garage Tuesday morning after a man reported a “suspicious package” had been left in his car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Around 9:50 a.m., a man drove his car into a 30-minute parking zone at the Snohomish County Courthouse. He reported to staff he believed someone had left a suspicious package in his car the day before, sheriff’s office spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said.
Deputies closed the garage. A bomb technician checked the car, O’Keefe said.
At 11:35 a.m., authorities cleared the vehicle and reopened the garage. Police believe it was a behavioral health incident.
