EVERETT — A body found in a strip of woods in Everett is being investigated as a suspicious death, according to police.
The body was found in a leafy thicket around 1 p.m. Friday, east of the Frontier Building at 1800 41st Street.
So far no details have been released about the person’s identity, gender or suspected cause and manner of death. An autopsy was performed Monday at the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Detectives continue to investigate. Police have found no sign of a threat to the public at large, Everett police Sgt. Maryjane Hacker said Monday.
“It seems to be a single, isolated incident,” Hacker said.
