EVERETT — Authorities have identified a man killed in a shooting followed by a rollover crash earlier this month.
Wyatt Powell, 40, of Everett, was driving a Toyota Camry in the 1000 block of Pecks Drive near Evergreen Way before Everett Police were alerted through 911 calls about his overturned vehicle around 6:40 a.m March 21. Witnesses at the scene reported seeing and hearing gunshots coming from a pickup truck before the crash.
Powell was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett where he died of a gunshot wound on March 24, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Wednesday. The medical examiner said the cause of death is homicide.
