SEATTLE — An Everett firefighter was arrested in Seattle on Wednesday for investigation of sex crimes involving a minor.
The firefighter, 60, was being held without bail in the King County jail. The Herald is not naming him because he has not been charged with a crime. He has no felony history in Washington.
Seattle police did not immediately respond to requests for additional information.
The firefighter, who also is a paramedic, was placed on leave, Everett city spokeswoman Meghan Pembroke said. He has worked for the city since 1991 and was not on duty at the time of his arrest.
