EVERETT — Washington State Patrol detectives on Friday arrested an Everett man for reportedly threatening to kill the governor.
The man, 38, allegedly sent the threatening messages to Gov. Chris Gregoire through her website, trooper Mark Francis said. The man was booked into Snohomish County Jail. He also was accused of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.
It wasn’t immediately clear where the man was arrested.
