EVERETT — An Everett man accused of leading police on a high-speed chase from Lake Stevens through north Everett last month was charged Friday in Snohomish County Superior Court with attempting to elude police.
Prosecutors allege that Thaddeus A. Sullivan, 39, was behind the wheel of a car that drove at a sheriff’s deputy May 23 during a traffic stop.
Officers pursued the green Kia Spectra over the U.S. 2 trestle into Everett.
Inside the city limits, the defendant allegedly blew through eight stop signs and six stop lights and passed cars in an oncoming lane.
The chase continued to Everett Community College, where the defendant allegedly turned onto a sidewalk, drove down the middle of the campus and crashed through a security gate.
