EVERETT – An Everett man, 29, was killed Monday night after a teen in a stolen car fled from a Washington State Patrol trooper and crashed into the man’s car at the intersection of Highway 526 and Broadway.
The teen, 19, was behind bars at Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree murder, eluding police, possession of stolen property and an outstanding warrant for eluding police. Officers found drugs in the stolen Toyota Camry, according to the Everett Police Department, which is investigating the incident along with state patrol.
An 18-year-old man, a passenger in the suspect’s car, was injured and undergoing treatment at Providence Everett Medical Center Colby Campus.
The trooper was not injured in the accident.
