EVERETT — A dispute led to the shooting of a 19-year-old man Sunday night, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Medics and Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies were called just before 9 p.m. to the 12900 block of 39th Avenue SE in unincorporated Everett, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said. The man was shot in his groin after an alleged argument with two men, ages 19 and 22, and a woman, 20, all from Everett.
The suspects showed up at the victim’s home in retaliation of an alleged robbery, Hover said. One of them reportedly shot the victim outside his home. All three suspects were booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.
Medics drove the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, Hover said. His condition was not known Monday afternoon. The incident remains under investigation.
