If an Everett man doesn’t sell his 1995 Grand Am, it’s not for want of advertisement.
A man known only as Joe posted an ad on Craigslist last night and it went absolutely viral. The ad reads in part: “I know what you’re asking yourself, “Am I man enough to handle a car this flawless?” The short answer is no. I tried to be. I grew my beard to unreasonable lengths, trimmed my fingernails with belt sander, ate nothing but lumber for 6 straight days and knocked a polar bear unconscious. The car chuckled at my failed attempt at manliness.”
The ad features a graphic that demonstrates the Grand Am reaching its pinnacle of awesome in 1995 and shots of the car with the letters “OMG” superimposed over the top.
Our news partner KIRO-TV caught up with Joe and reported on their Facebook page that he 50 missed calls on his cell phone this morning. I just checked Craigslist and it appears the ad was taken down. Maybe he got a buyer. We’ll try to catch up with him later and find out.
