EVERETT – A 30-year-old Everett man was hospitalized after being shot twice in the leg at his home southeast of Paine Field Sunday afternoon.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responding to a 911 call in the 11500 block of Marino Avenue arrested the man’s roommate in connection with the shooting.
At least four other people were inside the residence when the shooting happened, said sheriff’s Sgt. Ty Trenary.
A motive was not known at the time of publication.
The case remains under investigation.
Edmonds: Woman arrested in stabbing
A 46-year-old Edmonds woman was arrested Sunday on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend in the shoulder with a steak knife, police say.
The incident happened at a home in the 17400 block of 76th Avenue W. about 3 p.m.
Police were first alerted to the problem after a 911 hang-up call.
The stabbing victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.
