Everett police investigate shooting

EVERETT — Everett police were investigating a shooting this evening.

A man was shot multiple times in the chest at a home in the 2200 block of Rockefeller Ave., Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The shooting was reported about 6:17 p.m.

The victim was being rushed to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. His condition was not immediately available.

Police were looking for a man who was described as white and wearing light-colored clothing.

The victim apparently did not know the assailant, Goetz said.
