Everett Police looking for Ford Explorer in shooting death

EVERETT — Police are looking for a white Ford Explorer in connection with the apparent shooting death Tuesday of a man in his mid 40s, officials said.

A witness saw the white sports utility vehicle driving away from the area of the 8700 block of Holly Drive at about the same time of the shooting, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

Everett police and Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to the 8700 block of Holly Drive just before 5 a.m. today to reports of a man down, Goetz said.

They found the man dead in a parking lot, he said. He appeared to have been shot muitiple times. Neighbors told police they heard gun shots, Goetz said.
