EVERETT — Everett police continued to investigate a shooting Monday night that left a man in serious condition.
The man was expected to live, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said Tuesday. His identity was not released.
“It appears that he’s going to survive,” Goetz said.
The man was shot multiple times at a home in the 2200 block of Rockefeller Avenue, Goetz said.
The shooting was reported about 6:17 p.m.
“I saw the cops and ambulances show up and I went running over. The cops said someone got shot, I can’t believe that would happen here in my neighborhood,” Alan Beale said Monday.
The victim was rushed to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.
Police were looking Monday night for a man who was described as white and wearing light- colored clothing.
The victim apparently did not know the assailant.
On Tuesday, major crime detectives still were developing suspect information, Goetz said.
