I drove by city hall this morning and noted that the city is still not complying with its own rules on vacant, street-level spaces downtown.
I wrote about this several weeks ago here. In a nutshell, the city decided to require downtown property owners to dress up empty spaces with giant posters, artwork, etc. The idea is to keep vacant street-level spaces from looking like big, dark, empty caverns.
A few holdouts are not complying — city hall is one of them.
