Tony Houts, of Boy Scout Troop 19 in Everett and a member of the Order of the Arrow, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
He is a senior at Archbishop Murphy High School, where he is a varsity letterman in football, wrestling and track and is a National Honor Society officer.
For his Eagle project, Houts built an information kiosk at Rucker Hill Park. He is the son of Richard and Susan Houts of Everett.
At his court of honor ceremony, Houts was awarded the Eagle rank by his grandfather, W. Wallace Houts, also an Eagle Scout. In addition, his three uncles and his father, all Eagle Scouts, participated in the ceremony.
