EVERETT — An Everett woman died Sunday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Dec. 4 on I-5.
Stephanie Richards, 63, was riding a Triumph north on I-5 just before the exit to 128th Street Southwest around 3:18 p.m. that day. She changed lanes at a high speed, struck another vehicle and was thrown to the freeway’s right shoulder, according to the Washington State Patrol.
She was hospitalized at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where she died Sunday.
The other driver was not injured in the collision, which the Washington State Patrol said was caused by inattention. Neither alcohol nor drugs were involved.
