MONROE — EvergreenHealth Monroe is seeking applicants for its Community Advisors program.
The volunteers consult with the elected board and administrative leaders to help shape the services offered by EvergreenHealth Monroe. They also attend nine “educational sessions” on health care issues affecting Monroe each year.
Advisors are appointed by Public Hospital District No. 1 board to serve three-year terms starting in January, for up to nine years.
Strong applicants will have professional or volunteer experience, communication skills and an interest in health care. To qualify, advisors must be residents of the district, which includes Snohomish, Monroe, Index, Gold Bar, and Sultan.
Applications are due by Sept. 16. They are available online or by emailing SKLizza@evergreenhealth.com.
