MONROE — A former Monroe police sergeant was arrested again Friday morning.
Carlos Alberto Martinez, 63, was convicted in 2015 of voyeurism and possession of child pornography. The case involved his former babysitter.
Martinez appealed the conviction. The state Court of Appeals on Tuesday released its decision, upholding the findings from Snohomish County Superior Court.
Martinez had been sentenced to 14 months in prison but had been free while pursuing his appeal.
A warrant was issued for his arrest after the appeals court ruling, officials said. The arresting agency was the Department of Corrections, according to jail records.
