Whether you want to do a little Christmas shopping in downtown Seattle or take in the Seahawks football game, your Sound Transit taxes will finally give you a free convenient train today.
Sounder tickets are limited. About 425 will be handed out at 9:30 a.m. at Everett Station, 3201 Smith Ave., and 75 more at 10:45 a.m. at Edmonds Station, 211 Railroad Ave.
Even if you don’t want to take the train, free bratwurst, speeches and music will celebrate the first Sounder in the Everett Station parking lot. The festivities start are 9:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m., when the train pulls out of the station.
