“We are trying to educate our community about renewable energies,” said Karen Erickson, co-chairwoman of the fair and a Green Everett member. “We’re trying to get them to jump onto the bus and to think about what the heck they’re doing.”
The one-day fair is designed to showcase emerging alternate energy options, including ways to heat homes and power automobiles, Erickson said.
