Lecture
A lecture titled “Buddha’s Life and Teachings” is set for 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
The talk offers a basic introduction to the symbolism and meaning of Buddha’s life and teachings. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Dinners
Bethany Christian Assembly presents a “Wild Meat Dinner” at 5 p.m. Feb. 9. The guest speaker for the event will be hunter and outdoorsman Chad Schearer, who has presented more than 350 hunting and fishing seminars throughout America.

The Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington’s annual dinner and auction is today. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event supports the Interfaith Family Shelter and other Interfaith programs. The shelter serves homeless families.

The Seattle Northshore Women’s Connection presents a brunch at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Inglewood Golf and Country Club.

North Creek Presbyterian Church presents a GriefShare video seminar and support group, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
