The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Officials of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church’s new meetinghouse in Mukilteo. The building replaces a church destroyed by arson in 2010. Attending the dedication ceremony will be Mukilteo Mayor Joe Marine, congregation leaders, and the ecclesiastical leader, or stake president, of congregations in the Mukilteo and Lynnwood areas known as the Lynnwood Stake. There will also be an open house at the new building at 5 p.m. Saturday, with music, refreshments and classroom displays. About 800 people in the church’s Harbour Pointe Ward and Beverly Park Ward will attend services in the new building. The new church is at 11001 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo.

Temple Beth Or: An annual Tu B’Shevat celebration of the Jewish new year that recognizes trees will be held Feb. 7 at Everett’s Temple Beth Or. Valentine recital: Mukilteo Presbyterian Church will host a Snohomish County Music Teachers’ Association student “Valentine” recital at 2 p.m. Feb. 11. The event is free and open to the public. The church is at 4514 84th St. SW, Mukilteo.
Catholic Daughters tea: Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Rita’s Court will hold its Vintage Bridal Fashion Show, Silent Auction and Afternoon Tea at 11 a.m. Feb. 18 at St. Mary Magdalen Parish Hall, 8517 Seventh Ave. SE, Everett. Marriage on the Rock: A Marriage on the Rock Seminar presented by Jimmy and Karen Evans, founders of the Texas-based television ministry MarriageToday, will be simulcast at Arlington’s Bryant Community Church Feb. 10-11.
