Aridanne Trio Christmas Concert: 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at Lord Hill Farms, 12525 Old Snohomish Monroe Road, Snohomish. Tickets are $25 for the matinee, and $50 for the dinner concert. Three local musicians ages 13 through 16 will play to help a group from St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church fund a trip to the World Youth Day, an annual event for Catholic youth. Benefit concert for Brian Moore: 7 p.m. Dec. 10 Oak Harbor Lutheran Church, 1253 NW Second Ave., across from Oak Harbor High School Stadium, and 2 p.m. Dec. 12 at Regency on Whidbey, 1040 SW Kimball Dr., Oak Harbor. The concert is a fundraiser for Brian Moore, who was injured in a fall and uses a wheelchair.

Candlelight service: 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Arlington United Church, 338 N. McLeod Ave., Arlington. The church is celebrating the beginning of the Advent season with its 62nd annul candlelight service.

Christmas concert: 3 and 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St. Suggested donations is $5 per person, $15 per household.

Compassion in the Cold: 8 p.m. Nov. 26 at Pointe of Grace Church, 5425 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo. An event to raise awareness of poverty and homelessness in south Snohomish County. The church is a ministry site of Lynnwood Trinity Lutheran Church. Some congregation members plan to spend the night outside the church sleeping in tents, under tarps or in their cars to personally experience lack of shelter. The public is invited to join. Donations of warm socks, jars of pasta sauce, pasta, canned chicken soup, cans of tuna and hotel-sized toiletry items will be accepted for the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter.
