Holiday bazaar: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. today at Everett United Church of Christ, 2624 Rockefeller Ave. Lunch served 11 a.m.-2 p.m. A variety of vendors will be on hand. A portion of church proceeds go to scholarships and summer camp aid.

Heaven Scent Boutique: Edmonds Open Bible Church’s annual holiday bazaar continues 9 a.m.-4 p.m. today and 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the church at 657 Daley St., Edmonds. Holiday and home decor, baked goods, vintage finds, collectibles, linens and more. Proceeds support local and international missions, as well as Edmonds Elementary School.

Memorial concert: The Chancel Choir from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church along with the Trinity Lutheran College Concert Choir, the United Church of Christ Choir and the First Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir, Senior Handbell Ringers and Chancel Handbell Choir, will participate in a Veterans Day Memorial Concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The concert will feature patriotic songs and anthems in honor of those who have served our country or are currently serving in the U.S. military. Admission is free to the public.

Home League bazaar: The Women’s Home League holds its annual bazaar, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Salvation Army, 2525 Rucker Ave., Everett. Crafts, holiday decorations, books, handmade blankets and quilts, baked goods and more. Lunch also available.

Women’s luncheon: The next Mill Creek Christian Women’s Connection luncheon will be held 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 20610 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. The event includes the annual country fair, with proceeds benefiting Stonecroft Ministries. Music guest is Mary McRae; speaker is Lynn Franz on “Pain Brings Purpose.” Cost is $22. Israeli veteran talk: Yehuda Shaul, founder of Breaking the Silence, stops at Everett First Presbyterian Church at noon Nov. 14 on his national tour of the United States with other Israeli veterans to introduce their new book, “Our Harsh Logic.” Breaking the Silence is an organization of Israeli veteran combatants who paint a grim picture of service in the Occupied Territories. The church is at 2936 Rockefeller Ave.

112th anniversary: Second Baptist Church, 2801 Virginia Ave. in Everett, celebrates its 112th anniversary with three days of celebration, revival and dedication. Events include guest speakers 6-9 p.m. Nov. 15, a youth jam 2-5 p.m. Nov. 16, and a special Sunday service at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 17, followed by a dedication of the newly remodeled Community Center (2416 California Ave.) and dinner. Fall bazaar: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 15-16 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 36817 143rd Place SE in Startup. Handcrafted gifts, new and gently used Christmas decorations, bake sale, and lunch (11 a.m.-1 p.m.). Holiday bazaar: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 16 at Marysville United Methodist Church, 5600 64th St. NE, Marysville. Proceeds support Kloz 4 Kidz.

Bali Bazaar: 7 p.m. Nov. 22 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 23 at Cross View Church, 604 Avenue C in Snohomish. Handcrafted items brought directly from Bali, including wooden items, baskets, jewelry, purses, silk scarves, toys, decorations and much more. All proceeds benefit My Father’s House, a nonprofit orphanage in Bali, Indonesia, that is administered by Snohomish residents Kim and Brian Boyer. The Friday preview includes a presentation on the orphanage.

Services

Living Interfaith: Patrick McKenna will share “Honoring Samhain” at 11 a.m. Sunday. At the midpoint between the autumn equinox and winter solstice, Pagan tradition holds that the veil between the world of the living and the dead becomes thin. Unity Everett: Visiting minister Deborah Olive presents the lesson “Paradigms and Paradise” at 10 a.m. Sunday at Everett Unity Center for Positive Living, 3231 Colby Ave. This is about shifting the patterns in our life to move from discomfort to those that allow one to co-create heaven on earth. Unity Lynnwood: R. Loren Held will present on “Taoism and Unity” at 10 a.m. Sunday, the third in a five-part series exploring the world’s religions with an emphasis on the common thread of Divinity that unites us. Sharing the Caring: Spiritual support group meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 5115 100th St. NE in Marysville. Spiritual support for families caring for disabled loved ones at home. A safe place where people can share their frustrations freely without judgment and receive encouragement and support. Arts and crafts: Immaculate Conception/Our Lady of Perpetual Health holds a No Disabled Souls art class, 7-8:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The class is designed for people with disabilities, but anyone is welcome and encouraged to join. The arts and crafts social hour will be held in Hensen Hall’s Green Room at 2619 Cedar St., Everett. Meals, clothing

Sanctuary Ministries: Provides gently used clothes from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursdays in its Care Center at 15533 75th St. NE, between Lake Stevens and Granite Falls. Limit two bags per visit. Donations of clothing, bedding and shoes welcome. More info: 360-386-9871.

Kloz 4 Kidz: A free clothing resource center for kids in north Snohomish County. Open three days a week. Located behind Marysville United Methodist Church, 5600 64th St. NE. Call for an appointment: 360-658-1021.

Loaves and Fishes: A free community supper is offered 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays at Sultan Community United Methodist Church, 212 Birch St., Sultan.

Community kitchen: 4:30-6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at St. John’s, 913 Second Ave., Snohomish. More info: 360-568-4622.

The Table: A community dinner at 6 p.m. Thursdays at Mountain View Church, 9015 44th Drive NE, Marysville. Children welcome. More info: 360-659-0445.

Community meals: 5-6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Faith Lutheran Church, 6708 Cady Road, Everett. Free warm clothing also available. A representative from Molina Healthcare will discuss health care coverage issues if needed. All are invited. The ministry also seeks donations of warm jackets, sweaters and socks, as well as volunteers.

The Cove: A free breakfast and take-out lunch, 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays at First Covenant Church, 4502 Rucker Ave., Everett. More info: 425-252-9191.

Meals, clothes, dental: Gold Creek Community Church provides a free hot meal and sack lunches, 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month at Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Clothes available some days. Qualified people can sign up for free urgent dental care from a dental van that comes monthly. Ask Jessica for details and how to sign up.

Salt of the Earth: Soup kitchen is open at noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed. More info: Sandra, 425-355-1042.
