Prayer breakfast: The Snohomish County branch of the NAACP hosts a prayer breakfast, 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn, 8401 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo. Tickets start at $25. Global Eucharistic Adoration: Local parishes join the worldwide Catholic Church on Sunday in an hour of simultaneous adoration for the feast of Corpus Christi, which Pope Francis will begin in St. Peter’s Basilica at 5 p.m. Rome time. Events are set for 8-9:55 a.m. at Immaculate Conception, 2501 Hoyt Ave. in Everett, and 8-9 a.m. at St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church, 601 W. Columbia St. in Monroe. The Monroe event includes a procession on nearby city streets.

Interfaith tea event: Meet Pam Wessel-Estes, author of the children’s book, “A Quilt and a Home,” and past executive director of the Interfaith Association, 3-4:30 p.m. Sunday at Spirit of Grace UMC, 3530 Colby Ave., Everett. Quintessence in Concert: The last concert of the 2012-13 Westminster Concert Series features a recorder quintet playing the works of classical composers such as Bach, Guerrero, Staeps and Piazolla. Summer choir: The Lutheran Choral Association of Snohomish County is a new ecumenical summer choir and invites singers from all denominations to join. Little Library opening: Faith Lutheran Church of Everett holds a grand opening ceremony for its new Little Free Library, 5 p.m. Tuesday. Everyone is invited to bring books and take books. A free community dinner is at 5:15 p.m. The Little Free Library was built by Steve Balas, who built the first such library in the state at his Edmonds coffee shop. Women’s luncheon: The next Mill Creek Christian Women’s Connection luncheon will be held from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. June 13 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 20610 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Cost is $22. SUMMER CAMPs

Lutherwood Day Camp: Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church hosts Lutherwood Day Camp July 15-19. A week of songs, games, crafts and team-building activities, the day camp will be led by trained staff from Camp Lutherwood on Lake Samish. Kids ages 6-11 are invited. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-noon Friday. Lunch and snacks provided. Cost is $50, or $45 each if two or more siblings are enrolled. The church is at 615 E. Warm Beach: The Christian conference center, at 20800 Marine Drive in Stanwood, offers a variety of summer camps. Natural Wonders Day Camps are June 24-28, July 1-5 and Aug. 12-16. Meetings, classes

GriefShare: Mountain View Presbyterian Church will offer its GriefShare support group this summer, June 6 through Sept. 5. GriefShare helps individuals cope with the death of someone close. The summer series will meet each 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Thursdays except July 4. The public is invited. Workbooks are $15. The church is at 5115 100th St. NE in Marysville. Meals in Everett: Gold Creek Community Church provides a free hot meal and sack lunches, 5-6 p.m. the first, third and fifth Sunday of the month in the parking lot of Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave. Clothes available some days. Qualified persons can sign up for free urgent dental care from a dental van that comes monthly. Ask Jessica for details and how to sign up.

Salt of the Earth soup kitchen: Noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
