Children’s hospice forums: Father Alexander Tkachenko, founder of St. Petersburg Children’s Hospice, will speak about his efforts establishing and running this Russian ministry during and after the 8 and 10 a.m. services Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Retirement reception: Cheryl Lovgreen, a longtime teacher at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Preschool, is retiring after nearly 22 years. Retirement celebration: Sandy Lane is retiring after more than 20 years as director and lead teacher at Praise and Promise Preschool in Arlington and Marysville. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
