Grief classes: North Shore Christian Church will offer a Grief Share group on Tuesdays beginning Sept. 3 through Nov. 26. The times are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The church is at 5700 23rd Drive W, Everett. Grief Share features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Worship and salmon barbecue: Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Arlington will host its eighth annual Outdoor Worship and Salmon Barbecue Aug. 25 behind the church building at 615 E Highland Drive, Arlington. Luncheon date set: Ann Griffith from Abbotsford, British Columbia, will speak about ‘A Mentors Finger Print’ at the next Mill Creek Christian Women’s Connection luncheon, which is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at Shawn O’Donnell’s Restaurant, 122 128th Street SE, Everett. Neighbors in Need: Located at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, Neighbors in Need provides breakfast, showers, nurse care, haircuts, laundry, food and clothing every Saturday morning, as well as weekly support to homeless and at-risk youth and an emergency cold weather shelter. Food and clothes, Lake Stevens: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 9613 20th St. SE, offers a limited food pantry for its neighbors in need, noon to 2 p.m. first and third Wednesdays. Office is closed Fridays. In addition, free coats sponsored by Being Neighborly.org are located just outside the church entrance (take some, bring some). No other clothes items accepted.
