CROP Walk, Snohomish: The Snohomish CROP Hunger Walk will start at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 12, with registration starting at 12:45 p.m. The five-mile route starts and ends at First Presbyterian Church of Snohomish, located at the corner of 13th Street and Lake View Avenue. Flute concert: Circle of Flutes gives a free concert to celebrate the release of its new album, “Rain and Blue Skies,” 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. Egyptian bazaar: St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church of Lynnwood holds its 25th annual Egyptian Indoor Festival, 12-8 p.m. Oct. 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood. The Middle Eastern-style bazaar features Egyptian food, pastries, papyrus art, pharonic jewelry, souvenirs, statues, Coptic Christian art, icons, literature and more. Free admission.

Open house: An open house followed by a dedication and installation of new leaders for the Salvation Army Marysville outpost will be held at Oct. 18. Earth care: An “Interfaith Dialogue: Caring for the Earth” event is set for 3-4:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 4312 84th St. NE, Marysville. A Buddhist, a Muslim and a Christian give their perspectives on caring for the Earth, the second in a three-part series. Mission fundraiser: “Not in Our Backyard,” a fund-raising breakfast for the Everett Gospel Mission, is set for 7:30-9:30 a.m. Oct. 21 in the Grand Ballroom at the Everett Events Center, 2000 Hewitt Ave. State Rep.
