Dinner &Auction

The Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington’s annual dinner and auction is Feb. 2. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event supports the Interfaith Family Shelter, which houses homeless families as well as other Interfaith programs.

The dinner and auction will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s Henson Hall at 2619 Cedar St., Everett.

Tickets are $40 and include dinner and entertainment.

WOMEN’S EVENTs

Registration is open for the next two series of the Christian-based “Learn to Let Go and Grow” workshops set for 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Old Snohomish Library, 105 Cedar Ave., Snohomish. Each evening features a different series. Members select one seven-week series.

Workshops are open to all women who register in advance.

Saint Philip’s Episcopal Church presents a Mardi Gras-style dinner, silent auction and cake walk at 6 p.m. Feb. 2.

Proceeds will go to Washington Flood Relief and the Marysville Food Bank.

Dinner is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Canned food donations are welcome.

How to Start a Christian Mentoring Ministry, training for Christian churches and organizations on the best practices for establishing a mentoring program to serve children and youth in the community, Feb. 1 and 2. The Carmelite Institute of Spirituality presents Extraordinary Favors, Part 2.

The class will focus on imaginary visions, visions of spiritual substance, of hidden things, of God and the soul, and of the Holy Trinity. The class features Charles Garrity.

The Snohomish Community Church presents a class on marriage from 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 26 to March 8.

Chabad Jewish Center of Snohomish County continues its course “Ten Steps to the Inner You.”

The 11-week winter series for Wednesday night Kabbalah continues at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chabad Jewish Center, 19 W. Intercity Ave., Everett. The class is open to adults; teenagers are welcome at parents’ discretion. The class is free; no registration is required.
