Community service projects

Estuary Angels of First Presbyterian Church, in north Everett on the corner of Wall Street and Rockefeller Avenue, will visit Spencer Island to celebrate stewardship of the environment and Carbon Offset Day with Margeret Bridge of Pilchuck Audubon Society as guide.

Labyrinth worship service

Edmonds Christian Church is conducting a contemplative labyrinth worship service at 6 p.m. Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day.

During the worship service Armed Services personnel will be honored, as well as individuals who have passed away this year.

Music will be performed by Judith Cummings, an internationally known harpist.

Marysville Free Methodist Church is proud to present the Common Bond 5 southern gospel quintet during the church’s 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 a.m. services Sunday.

Faith Lutheran Church is holding its “Lunch Bunch” meals 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every second Tuesday of the month,

The November menu will feature turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, salad, dessert and refreshments.

Craft fairs and bAzaars

Faith Lutheran Church in Lakewood has scheduled its bazaar for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 17.

All items have been hand-crafted by church members, friends and community members.

There will be raffle items, craft items and Norwegian goodies. All of the proceeds go back to the community in Thanksgiving baskets, Christmas baskets and gifts, area food banks and local senior centers.

Edmonds Open Bible Church will feature its Heaven Scent Boutique from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 9, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 and 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 11.

The boutique will feature handmade gifts, decor, crafts, collectables, fine art and fresh-baked goods with all proceeds going to home and foreign missions.

WOMEN’S EVENTs

The women of Everett First United Methodist Church will present their annual Holiday Bazaar 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10.

The event will feature a silent auction, book nook, bakery, collectibles, holiday gifts, handmade chocolates, baby quilts and lap quilts.

The Trinity Lutheran Church MOPS — Mothers Of Preschoolers — group has begun its 2007-08 year. The group is open to all mothers with children from newborns through kindergartners.

TLC MOPS meets from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2324 Lombard Ave., Everett.

Peace Lutheran Church offers a women’s bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

This annual event will feature lefse, baked goods, homemade crafts, a quilt raffle and fair-trade coffee and gifts.

The MOMS Club of Snoho­mish offers meetings open to mothers looking for fun and support. The MOMS Club is an international, nonprofit support group for mothers who stay at home with their children, including those who have home-based businesses or who work part time but are home with their children during the day.

The club offers a range of activities, including play groups, books clubs and special daytime events geared toward children.

The MOMS club meets at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at Mountain View Community Church, 12033 Seattle Hill Road, Snohomish.

TORAH CLASSES

SUPPORT GROUPS

A 13-week support group for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one will meet from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 2 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 9613 20th St. SE, Everett. Participants should register in advance.
