Families share love of reading

Over 350 children and adults came to College Place Elementary School on Oct. 19 for a Falling in Love with Reading event.

There were family reading activities, games, prizes, fall treats, and free bus transportation provided by the Foundation for Edmonds School District. Firefighters, the mayor, and volunteers from the local Kiwanis Club read stories aloud to groups of children. Students received free books to take home. There also was a book fair.
