MARYSVILLE — Three people and two pets escaped a house fire Tuesday morning in Marysville.
The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. at a home in the 5300 block of 88th Street NE, Marysville Fire Department spokesperson Christie Veley said. Two adults, a child and two pets got out without injury.
The home had significant damage after the fire, which reportedly started in the garage, Veley said. The cause was being investigated.
Crews from Snohomish County Fire Districts 19 and 22 helped douse the flames.
The Red Cross was providing temporary shelter for the family.
