BOISE, Idaho — Fans of singer k.d. lang were left with a “constant craving” for her music after she canceled an Idaho concert, citing poor air quality caused by wildfires.
The state Department of Environmental Quality issued an alert Thursday saying air quality had worsened in southwestern Idaho, where lang was scheduled to perform at the Eagle River Pavilion west of Boise.
The DEQ posted an orange alert, which means the air is unhealthy for those with breathing issues. The agency also advised that any strenuous outside activities be postponed until the air quality improves.
The Idaho Statesman reported that lang, who wrote the song “Constant Craving,” made the decision to cancel her performance.
Anyone who purchased tickets for the concert through the service Ticketfly will automatically be refunded.
